The paths and success rates shown by this service are reference information based on a physics simulation.
Real results vary with the cloth, humidity, ball wear, the cue and your stroke.
We do not guarantee the accuracy of simulation results.
1. What the service is
Hello Billiard is a training and practice aid that calculates and shows carom billiards paths.
It detects the ball layout from a photo of the table and suggests four-ball scoring paths and three-cushion system calculations.
The basic features are free and available to anyone without creating an account.
Some features are offered through a paid pass (Pro) (see section 6).
2. Limits of simulation results
- The success rate (%) shown is a statistic from a Monte Carlo simulation that includes execution errors.
It does not guarantee your actual chance of success.
- The physics engine has been checked against measured data but is an approximate model. In particular,
deep bank shots (first-cushion number 30 or more) are known to be calculated longer than they play.
- Photo recognition can misplace balls depending on lighting, camera angle and cloth color.
Always check the result with your own eyes and adjust it if needed.
- Table calibration values are set by you, and you are responsible for whether they are appropriate.
3. Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by law, the provider is not liable for damages arising from the use of the service or its results.
In particular, we accept no responsibility for the outcome of wagers, matches, bets or similar activities based on the service's calculations.
The service is provided "as is", without any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose or of uninterrupted, error-free operation.
4. Your obligations
- Do not interfere with the service by reverse engineering it, using automation tools or otherwise using it abnormally.
- Do not resell the service's output to third parties or integrate it into a commercial service without the provider's approval.
5. Intellectual property
All rights in Hello Billiard's software, physics engine, design, text and other works belong to
Studioroom. You may freely use path images you create, save or share from the app for personal purposes.
6. Paid pass (Pro)

- What you get: no limit on photo recognition, all suggested four-ball and three-cushion paths,
extra game hints, and no watermark on exported images. The price and features shown at checkout take precedence.
- Payment: in the apps, Google Play Billing or Apple In-App Purchase. Prices are set by each store
in your local currency. Web payments are available in Korea only (KakaoPay; Pro 1-day pass ₩1,000, Pro lifetime ₩4,900).
- Scope: there are no user accounts, so a pass is stored on the device you paid on (on the web, in that browser).
Clearing browser data or changing devices may remove a web pass; tell us your payment details and we will restore it after checking.
A lifetime pass bought in the app can be recovered with "Restore purchase" on the same store account.
- Payment confirmation: in-app purchases unlock after our server verifies the receipt. If verification is delayed,
the app shows "Confirming payment" and unlocks automatically once confirmed. A payment that can never be confirmed
may be cancelled and refunded under the store's policy. The 1-day pass runs for 24 hours from the store's purchase time,
and a pass refunded by the store is also removed in the app.
7. Cancellation and refunds
- Pro is digital content that unlocks as soon as you pay. You can check the free features and what Pro includes on the
checkout screen in advance. Once you start using Pro, the right to cancel is limited under Article 17(2)(5) of Korea's
Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce.
- If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, by starting to use Pro immediately you agree that delivery begins
right away and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once it begins.
- However, if Pro did not unlock after payment, or what you received differs from what was shown or advertised,
you may cancel within 3 months of payment and within 30 days of becoming aware of the problem (Article 17(3) of the same Act).
This does not limit any remedy you have for faulty digital content under the law of your country.
- App purchases: refunds follow the Google Play and Apple refund processes. Request a refund from your purchase
history in the store (for Apple, reportaproblem.apple.com). A refunded pass is removed in the app.
- Web payments (KakaoPay): email us the date, time and product of your payment and we will cancel it after checking.
8. Changes to or suspension of the service
The provider may change the service or stop providing it. If we reduce what a paid pass includes or end the service,
we will announce it in the app at least 30 days in advance. Except in cases of intent or gross negligence,
we are not liable for losses from other changes.
9. Personal data
The service does not collect personal data, and photos you use are never sent off your device.

10. Apple App Store
If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, these terms are between you and Studioroom, not Apple.
Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty,
you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other
warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for addressing claims relating to the app, including product liability claims,
claims that the app fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection claims, or claims that the app infringes
a third party's intellectual property rights. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
You also agree to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement,
and must comply with any applicable third-party terms when using the app.
11. Changes to these terms and governing law
We may revise these terms when needed and will announce revisions in the app before they take effect.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory
consumer protection laws of the country where you live. If the Korean and English versions differ, the Korean version prevails,
except where mandatory local law requires otherwise.
