Privacy Policy

Hello Billiard has no sign-up and collects no information that identifies you. Table photos you take or choose are processed only on your device and are never uploaded. The website counts visits without cookies, but the apps installed from Google Play or the App Store do not load that counter at all.

2. Personal data we collect

None. We do not collect, store or use your name, email, phone number, date of birth, location or any other information that identifies you. There is no account or login.

3. Photos and camera

You can read a table layout in two ways — choose a photo from your gallery or shoot it inside the app with the capture guide.
The camera permission is requested only when you open the capture guide. The camera image is shown on screen so you can line up the four corners; it is never recorded, stored or sent. The camera turns off as soon as you close the capture screen. If you deny the permission you can still choose a photo from your gallery.
Photos are opened in your device's memory only, kept while the photo panel is open so the path can be drawn over them, and discarded when you close it or leave the page.
Photos are never stored on or sent to any server. The app contains no code that uploads photos.
Corner detection, perspective correction and ball colour detection all run on your device.

4. Information stored on your device

The app keeps its settings in your device's local storage. These values never leave your device and do not identify you: calibration and table conditions, your skill level and the points you entered on first launch, ball colour, cloth colour, term style/language, last mode, light/dark theme, whether the first-use guide was shown, Pro status and day-pass expiry, the purchase receipt and transaction numbers used to avoid applying the same payment twice and to re-check refunds once a day, a clock value that stops the free counts from being reset by turning the device clock back, the daily free photo count, local feature counters, game settings and records, and the last 30 error messages for troubleshooting. Clearing site data or uninstalling the app deletes all of this immediately. You don't need to ask us.

5. Visit statistics (website only)

On the website (in a browser) we count page views and feature events with Vercel Web Analytics. It uses no cookies, creates no identifier or device fingerprint and does not follow individual visitors. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in knowing which features are used (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

The apps from Google Play and the App Store do not load this tool. We show no ads and use no advertising or tracking tools.

6. Payments

In the apps, Pro is sold through Google Play Billing / Apple In-App Purchase. Google or Apple handles the payment entirely. The app sends only the purchase receipt (token) to our server so we can confirm it is genuine; the server uses it for that check and does not store it. Receipts contain no name, email or payment details. Legal basis: performance of the contract you entered by buying Pro (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
Your purchase history itself stays with your Google or Apple account under their privacy policies.
On the website (Korea only), Pro is paid through KakaoPay, which receives and processes your payment details — we never see or store them. A single signed cookie, hbpay, holding the order number and product, exists only while you go to KakaoPay and back and is deleted after at most 10 minutes. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.

7. Service providers and international transfers

Because we collect no personal data, we share none. Only these services are involved:

Like any website, Vercel's servers see your IP address when the app or site is loaded, and may process it outside your country (for example in the United States) only to deliver the content. All files, including fonts, are served from our own domain, so no ad network, analytics company or font provider receives your IP address.

8. Children

We collect no personal data from anyone, including children.

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR and similar laws you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Since we hold no personal data about you, there is normally nothing to access or delete — but you can always contact us at contact@studioroomkr.com and we will reply within 30 days.

10. Changes

If we ever start processing more information (for example ads or accounts), we will update this policy and announce it in the app before it takes effect.
